Elisabeth Pollaert Smith, a former international corporate lawyer, began photographing seriously
almost a decade ago. She has studied at the London College of Printing, in the UK, and at the
International Center of Photography, in New York and New Mexico.

Elisabeth, a four-time finalist for Popular Photography magazine's "Your Best Shot" competition, and
a finalist in the World Wildlife Fund's, "Life Grows On" competition, is represented by Getty Images
and has taught photography in Mamaroneck, NY. She is a member of the Mamaroneck Artists' Guild and
the Southern Vermont Arts Center, and has recently relocated to the San Francisco Bay area.

She has recently exhibited in the juried exhibitions, "Spirit of Flight," at the Seattle Museum of Flight
(awarded Second Place); "Red," at the Darkroom Gallery in Essex Junction, VT (awarded Juror's
Choice and Honorable Mention); "Images from a Glass Eye," at the Tehama County Photo Club,
Red Bluff, CA: "Size Matters (?)," at the New Rochelle Council on the Arts, New Rochelle, NY
(awarded Second Place); "Images 2012" and "Images 2013" at the Fairfield Museum & History
Center, Fairfield, CT; "Small Works, 2012," "Small Works, 2013" and "Small Works, 2015" at the
Mamaroneck Artists' Guild, Larchmont, NY; and the North Valley Art League 2012 and 2014
Juried Photography Shows (Gold Selection for 2014), Redding, CA.

Elisabeth has shown her work in solo and joint exhibitions at the Friends of the Library Gallery and the
Coastal Arts League, both in Cape Coral, FL; the Broadway Palm Theater, in Fort Myers, FL; and the
Mamaroneck Artists' Guild in Larchmont, NY, where she presented "The Nature of Contrasts," and
"Art for the Man Cave."

She also participated in the Larchmont Historical Society's "Day in the Life of Larchmont" exhibit,
in Larchmont, NY, and worked with the Humane Society of Westchester to present "Shelter Cats," an
exhibit to raise awareness of the many beautiful cats waiting to be adopted. The exhibit was shown
in Larchmont, Mamaroneck, Tarrytown, Scarsdale, Ardsley, Rye, Eastchester, Dobbs Ferry, and
Irvington.
